Who is the Fastest Now? Raging Thunder 2 Updates Features and Launches on iPad

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – April 26, 2010
Just when you thought you were getting good at it, Polarbit opens up the competition in its top selling mobile racing game, Raging Thunder 2. Polarbit today announced the latest update available for Raging Thunder 2. The upgrade features leaderboards and touch controls for the iPhone, iTouch, iPad and Android.
In addition to competing directly against other players in online races, users will now be able to compete with racers globally through the use of global, online high score lists. With the new upgrade, users can upload their best times and achievements (longest jump, highest speed) for each track to online leaderboards and view them by week, month, or all-time. Racers will also be able to virtually challenge their competition with the new ability to download ghost races from the leaderboards. Like the game itself, the leaderboards were designed in a cross-platform format so that competition can continue between iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android users.
The latest Raging Thunder 2 also allows users to customize their driving experience for more control of the car using the touch screen instead of the motion sensors (adjustable in game options).

Regularly priced at $4.99, you can purchase Raging Thunder 2 from the iTunes App Store for the next two weeks at a discounted price of $2.99. Download the game for iPhone and iPod Touch here: http://itunes.com/apps/ragingthunder2, and iPad here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/raging-thunder-2-for-ipad/id364894572?mt=8.

Polarbit surpass one million Android downloads

Polarbit announced today that their applications have exceeded one million total downloads on Googles Android Market.

The announcement follows hot on the heals of Polarbits millionth Ovi Store download in early February. Polarbit are now one of an exclusive few, possibly the only, developers to have seen more than one million downloads on each of the big three mobile platforms – Symbian, Android and iPhone. This goes to show Polarbits strength as multiplatform developers, and their dedication to support as wide a range of platforms as possible.

Not satisfied by resting on their laurels however, Polarbit will continue to expand platform support in their middleware platform Fuse to ensure they reach as many gamers as possible, and are looking forward to breaking the million download mark on many further platforms in the future.
