Stockholm, Sweden – Polarbit, noted cross- mobile- and handheld game developers announced today that the popular iPhone AppStore game Fuzzies is now available on Android Market.

Fuzzies is a sidescrolling puzzle/platformer in which players aid a band of carefree monkeys over, around and through a host of tricky obstacles by assigning them a variety of different tasks and abilities. Monkeys are lazy and not very bright, so a monkey without an assigned task will just keep shuffling straight into oblivion.

Key features of the game include:
• Hours of fun in 28 mind-bending levels
• Easy to learn, difficult to master intuitive gameplay
• Beautiful, cartoonish graphics and animations
• Nine funky music tracks

A clip of Fuzzies in action can be found at:

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – April 26, 2010
Just when you thought you were getting good at it, Polarbit opens up the competition in its top selling mobile racing game, Raging Thunder 2. Polarbit today announced the latest update available for Raging Thunder 2. The upgrade features leaderboards and touch controls for the iPhone, iTouch, iPad and Android.
In addition to competing directly against other players in online races, users will now be able to compete with racers globally through the use of global, online high score lists. With the new upgrade, users can upload their best times and achievements (longest jump, highest speed) for each track to online leaderboards and view them by week, month, or all-time. Racers will also be able to virtually challenge their competition with the new ability to download ghost races from the leaderboards. Like the game itself, the leaderboards were designed in a cross-platform format so that competition can continue between iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android users.
The latest Raging Thunder 2 also allows users to customize their driving experience for more control of the car using the touch screen instead of the motion sensors (adjustable in game options).

Regularly priced at $4.99, you can purchase Raging Thunder 2 from the iTunes App Store for the next two weeks at a discounted price of $2.99. Download the game for iPhone and iPod Touch here: http://itunes.com/apps/ragingthunder2, and iPad here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/raging-thunder-2-for-ipad/id364894572?mt=8.
You can download Raging Thunder 2 for Android phones from the Android Market.

Polarbit announced today that their applications have exceeded one million total downloads on Googles Android Market.

The announcement follows hot on the heals of Polarbits millionth Ovi Store download in early February. Polarbit are now one of an exclusive few, possibly the only, developers to have seen more than one million downloads on each of the big three mobile platforms – Symbian, Android and iPhone. This goes to show Polarbits strength as multiplatform developers, and their dedication to support as wide a range of platforms as possible.

Not satisfied by resting on their laurels however, Polarbit will continue to expand platform support in their middleware platform Fuse to ensure they reach as many gamers as possible, and are looking forward to breaking the million download mark on many further platforms in the future.

Stockholm, Sweden – Polarbit, noted cross-platform mobile game developers announced today that their applications exceeded one million total downloads in two weeks on the Ovi Store by Nokia.

Says Anders Nilsson, founder and CTO of Polarbit:
“We take great pride in being early adopters, as well as in our ability to deliver a consistent, high quality gaming experience across all platforms. We are greatly aided in this ambition by our Fuse middleware platform which has allowed us to utilize the full potential of the Nokia Game API plug-in to quickly bring Raging Thunder, Armageddon Squadron, WaveBlazer, Iron Sight and ToonWarz to the Ovi Store.

Considering the tremendous reception we’ve seen for these releases, this is evidently a good strategy. Too many developers focus their efforts entirely on the iPhone and release sub-par, Java-like versions on new platforms and markets which are capable of so much more, whereas we are dedicated to ensure that Nokia Ovi gamers receive the same rich, high-end gaming experience as iPhone gamers.“

About Polarbit AB
Polarbit AB, founded in 2005, is a game and middleware developer focusing on high-end mobile and handheld devices. Their experience, dedication and uncompromising attitude towards quality ensure customers and users that Polarbit technology is always synonymous with world-class entertainment technology.

About Fuse
Fuse is Polarbits’ proprietary middleware solution for cross-platform development on smartphones and handheld devices ; a highly optimized framework comprised of SDK, toolset and game engines supporting all major mobile platforms including iPhone/iPod Touch, Android, Symbian, Brew, Nintendo DS, Wipi and Windows Mobile.
