Cracking Sands unleashed on the App Store

Leading developer and independent publisher Polarbit announced today the immediate release of Cracking Sands on the App Store.
Beating out such classics as Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja and Civilization to the top spot of the charts on its Windows Phone release, Cracking Sands represents Polarbits most ambitious release to date.
Cracking Sands combines the adrenaline pumping action of a shooter with the thrills of a racing game. Created by the team behind mobile kart racing classics such as the Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart-series and Konami Krazy Racing, Cracking Sands represents the next step in the evolution of the genre.
Cracking Sands allows players to create their own unique characters, with hundreds of thousands possible combination, and choose from 20 different vehicles that can be upgraded and customized with everything from mines and machine guns to exotic gadgets like the Vampire Gun or Cloaking Device.
28 tracks and six game modes, including online multiplayer and shareable ghost races, round out a package sure to please even the most discerning of gamers. Cracking Sands is available now on the App Store, and will be released on Google Play within the coming few days.
