Polarbit pledge support for Zeebo gaming and education system

Leading developer and independent publisher Polarbit announced today their support for the Zeebo 3G-connected digital gaming, entertainment and education system and the release of their first two titles for the platform.

Polarbit’s initial Zeebo line-up includes arcade flight-sim / shoot-em’up Armageddon Squadron and mech strategy title Iron Sight. These two titles will be followed later this year by acclaimed street racer Raging Thunder 2 and the hotly anticipated top-down dirt racer Reckless Racing.

“Polarbit is renowned for their high-end 3D games and we’re delighted to see the first two of their four titles launching today for our consumers in Brazil and Mexico,” said Mike Yuen, senior vice president of global content and services, Zeebo, Inc. “All four of their titles will be available for purchase for the holidays and they’re sure to bring a smile to Zeebo gamers of all ages.”

“We’re thrilled about the opportunities to enter large, otherwise hard-to-reach markets and bring our games to wholly new groups of customers that Zeebo is able to offer us,” said Mitri Bautista-Wiberg, founder of Polarbit. “We are also excited about broadening our device support to include home set-top systems.”

Armageddon Squadron and Iron Sight are available now on the Zeebo system starting at R$ 16.90 and R$14.90 respectively in Brazil, and 99 Pesos and 79 Pesos respectively in Mexico.
