Polarbit connects iPhone, Android, Ovi Store gamers

Stockholm, Sweden – Polarbit, pioneering developers of games for mobile and handheld platforms announced today the immediate availability of their games on Android Market.

In addition to already available award-winning street racer Raging Thunder, titles include powerboat racer WaveBlazer, arcade shoot’em-up Armageddon Squadron, FPS ToonWarz and futuristic strategy title Iron Sight. Polarbit titles are known for their visual excellence as well as their accessible gameplay and controls, ensuring that they appeal to casual as well as hard-core gamers.

Polarbit bring racer Raging Thunder to Android Market

Raging Thunder is a fast-paced, arcade street racing game that garnered much praise for its appealing visuals, excellent playability and rich internet and local multiplayer functionality on its AppStore release.

Raging Thunder is the first Polarbit title to be released on Android Market, shortly to be followed by powerboat racer WaveBlazer, arcade shoot’em-up Armageddon Squadron, FPS ToonWarz and futuristic strategy game Iron Sight. Polarbits support for the Android platform follows hot on the heals of the release of their portfolio on Ovi Store by Nokia.
As all Polarbit titles, Raging Thunder will feature cross-platform multiplayer functionality enabling Android, Nokia Ovi and iPhone gamers to face off against each other.

ToonWarz – release of online FPS

Polarbit, the developers behind such iPhone bestsellers as Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart and FIFA10, announced today the release of ToonWarz, an action/arcade FPS featuring internet and local WiFi multiplayer as well as a fully stocked single player campaign.

ToonWarz gives players control of a lone commando, fighting against hordes of vicious enemy soldiers. In order to prevail, players will need to utilize all their wits and skills, as well as an extensive arsenal of shotguns, flame-throwers, bazookas and much more.
